If you are currently paying rates on an empty commercial
property, you may well be interested in our initiative.
We can help turn negative into a positive by helping you to
occupy your empty unit whilst you search for a permanent tenant,
whilst receiving a discount of at least 50% on your rates.
How does it work?
In return for allowing your unit to be used for charitable
purposes, you will be able to benefit from a government scheme that
allows 80% mandatory relief on the property rates and a potential
further 20% discount.
All we ask in return is a sponsorship payment to
our charity and the use of your space for
environmental and / or health activities run directly
by ourselves or via our charity subcontractors, whilst you
look for a permanent landlord.
What are the drawbacks?
There are none!
You are able to save on paying rates on an
otherwise empty unit whilst supporting a charity. What's more you
have a 'terminate at will' lease while you continue searching for a
long-term tenant - we guarantee to vacate your premises as soon as
you find a tenant.
We are able to continue our mission to champion
new and grassroots green and healthy causes, by giving community
initiatives the space and voice they need.
The community benefits from our initiatives,
such as Book for Free, and is no longer blighted by having a
boarded up shop on their high street.
