Winners of the RBS SE100 Index announced!

Healthy Planet was announced the overall winner of the Trailblazing Newcomer category! The prize of £5,000 and a commemorative bowl made by Hill Holt Wood was collected by Shaylesh Patel, founder of Healthy Planet. His eagerness and excitement was evident as he watched the video prior to accepting the award from Tim Campbell, winner of first series of The Apprentice.

The RBS SE100 Index is now in its second year. Its aim remains the same: to track the success of social businesses across the UK by examining both their growth and the impact that they make. What gave Healthy Planet the advantage over other shortlisted candidates was not only our growth and impact reporting, but also the inspiring story behind our imaginative approach to growing the business.

What the judges said:

'Healthy Planet is a young company with an ambitious vision for growth and impact. It is very clever and has identified a novel idea to create additional value for social purposes. It also understands the need to communicate the impact and the business story as part of its offering to customers and supporters.'

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with the charity as without your support none of this would have been possible.
