Eastender Charlie Brooks & our Schools £20+0=£29 scheme

Following in the tweet-steps of Stephen Fry on Mother's Day, soap star schemer Charlie Brooks, is using a charity scheme to make her Xmas budget greener and stretch further.

Charlie, a mother herself, is one of numerous celebrities and parents who are using the Healthy Planet charity's '2029' Adopt Land scheme.

By using a school's unique code for every endangered parkland plot she adopts, starting from £20, she will be funding the charity; its conservation work there AND  £9 (45%) goes back to her chosen school as a Healthy Learning grant.

As special guest at the open evening for Ravenscourt Theatre School on Friday 27 November, Charlie attended and encouraged parents and visitors to the school's new premises in West London to do the same.
