The Monarch Butterfly Fund works towards the conservation of North American Monarch butterflies and their migration through habitat restoration, research, monitoring, education and support for sustainable community development in and near the monarch overwintering areas in Mexico.
The Monarch Butterfly Fund (MBF) is trying to improve the
wintering sites of the Monarch Butterfly through reforestation and
forest restoration as well as Habitat and species assessments,
research, public awareness and sustainable development programs.
The involvement of local communities is an important part of MBF's
work and is also a big part of the projects that Healthy Planet is
supporting.
