Care for the Wild International is a charity dedicated to the conservation and welfare of wildlife around the world. It works alongside its partners to protect wildlife and its habitat, rescue and rehabilitate wild animals, and act as a global voice for wildlife protection through campaigns, research and education.
In order to curb the decline in wildlife, Care for the Wild
International supports de-snaring teams in Kenya's Tsavo and Maasai
Mara National Parks to remove and destroy snares. Some 20 local
Maasai tribesmen act as part-time scouts in the Mara, while the
Tsavo team comprises Kenya Wildlife Service rangers, members of the
Forest Department, Provincial Administration as well as private
landowners.
